Was all over the field on Saturday.  9 tackles... did he start at CB/S?  If so, who did he replace?

He appears to be a better safety than corner with his ability to get all over the field.

No... he started as a CB but moved now plays primary backup at Nickle CB and Safety.... he's also our best gunner on special teams.

The original question was never answered.  Why did Montgomery get so much playing time?  Thinking about it now, USF was in three down linemen almost the entire game.  I wasn't paying attention, but I'll bet it was 3-3-5 since I don't recall a fourth LB on the field much.  Montgomery was probably the fifth DB.
