Sun Dome photo update

I was able to see the interior yesterday prior to the green gold game and it does look incredible, the seating reminds me of ND's arena whereas the concourse area is more along the lines of a professional sports arena.

Did you have a tour or "just poke your head in the door"? Drove by both new entrances...looks great.

This looks big time. Arkansas has a team store and basketball museum in the Bud Walton Arena. Sun Dome definitely getting better with the nice concourses. Hopefully having a true student section in the proper location will attract more students. The new baseball and soccer stadiums have definitely brought more students out to those games.

Funny you mention ND's arena. I said the same thing to Bill McGillis while getting a tour from him. The private boxes and club area make ours different, but overall I got the feel of the ND arena.

Me too. Ugh. It's like the whole "USF Tampa Bay" fiasco. Why do we keep doing things that make us sound like a community college? I have no idea.

I will definatly go.... if I can finish my final exam in time. I don't think I will make the ribbon cutting, but the tour should be no problem.
