Cut by the Miami Dolphins last week, former University of South Florida wide receiver Taurus Johnson has a new gig.

According to his agent, David Canter, Johnson has joined the Cleveland Browns.

Johnson went undrafted out of USF and was signed as a free agent by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Johnson has also spent time with the Detroit Lions' practice squad before being cut last season. He has been on the Dolphins' practice squad, too.

In college, he ranked second in school history with 29 kickoff returns and third in kickoff return yards with 784.

Pretty cool, though conflicting emotions here.

There won't be spots for both to get time, so one will have to fail most likely.

Taurus was probably brought in for PR and KR duties. He seems to excel in those areas.

Not sure why we had to cut him-did we have 6 yards top  on PR; bad call for a corner

Yeah, the fins should have given him a shot, the other returners didn't look very good to me. Good luck Taurus.
