The offense was beyond embarrassing. You know its bad when your starting QB looks like a walk on and your True Freshman was playing like a starter.

thats not good. bj is supposed to be our all star. first team all big east, leader of the offense...  :-[

I did a lengthy write up in the thread "Bullspenners reports from Vero" You can read my take on it. Yes, BJ was a total 180 today from the BJ we saw that put on an accuracy clinic at the spring game. Gunsby looks VERY good. Stands tall in the pocket, plenty of juke to his step, big boy so no arm tackling, and very nice touch and velocity on his ball.

This is true nobull but, he was missing wide open receivers bad. He did look great running the ball though. And why yes, BJ hasn't played in a while, Gunsby had never played in a college scrimmage and he looked really REALLY good. BJ is the better runner but, Gunsby is very fluid looking when he runs. Eyes up, starts and stops very quickly, pretty darn speedy, and a LOAD to bring down. BJ is our starting QB and he will do great but, it's nice to know we're going to have a very capable back-up this season and then be loaded at the QB position in Jan.

Way too early to be concerned about the offense. The defense always comes together quicker. I guess I'm not so concerned about the offense because I have extremely low expecations for the offense this year.

The only real strength of the offense the last few years was the QB running on designed runs. The spread put us in a position to let the QB do his thing. If we are planning to limit Daniels running we take away our only proven running threat. Daniels struggled when forced to be a pocket passer. I plan on seeing development from the offense. I am not expecting a miracle turnaroud offense.

I know a lot of guys around here have big expectations from the new system, but mine our very low. The performance today was about what I expected from the first scrimmage. It will come togetheras they get more time to gel, but don't expect a prolific output on offense this year.

After reading this, I think the uf game is becoming far more of a challenge. This really sucks! All uf reports say the gay turds are just stacked and brantley is 100% accurate! Ughhhh, any other thoughts gay turds 75-7? Really, Really hope that is wrong.

Uh, yeah.  The Gator game is a long way away.  It really doesn't matter if Brantley is 100% accurate in practice.  That could mean their defense is terrible.  You cannot accurately gauge any team when it is practicing against itself.
