Brighthouse channel 1137, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

I know I know!! Stupid me

I just came back to the board to say this is the perfect USF 2010 game since you can see both sides of the ball but you beat me about the defensive thing.

Remember I'm old.

How is it going so far?

ECU up 21-17 at the start of the 4th quarter. Without checking I'm going to assume ECU wins since they were the champs and Marshal fired their coach.

Offense (ECU)

Lots of runs toward the middle, passes to the flats, roll outs and some longer passes.

Surprisingly (based on what I heard) there were a few quarterback direct runs thrown into the mix. They also tried a wildcat formation with the runner throwing the ball.

Defense (Marshal)

Not much to say (could be the talent level) but I saw a nice play where the def end crashed down the line to make the tackle on the other side. We are used to seeing that with our speed.

Oh and if you hope to see reduced penalties don't hold your breath, both sides are guilty but especially ECU (8 through 3 quarters).

Also meant to say the lack of depth at wide receiver may not be quite an issue. While ECU uses them, there are not the mass quantities of WR on the field we were using.
