I have not been following DoJo's situation, but just reading that quote makes me think that the Mavs really love this kid and are mabye trying to bring him along slowly? I'm just not so sure they'll be able to hold him back for long. I hope he becomes a household name.

The young man can fill it up. Also looks like he has added D to the arsenal.

Might not speak like it, but he is smart enough to know what will keep him in the league.

Scorers are a dime a dozen. Guys that can keep others from scoring are the true gems.

No ROY for Jones. They don't hand out that hardware to guys picked that low. Maybe he'll be invited to the rookie game. That's the most individual glory he can get.

He'll probably award himself a trophy...The Dominique Jones Player of the Year Trophy.. Awarded annually to DoJo's favorite player.

not win, but "chance to compete." if he just gets 3rd or 4th place votes would be great
