Stony Brook: Out of town Bulls

If any Bulls are coming in for the game, I just nabbed a good deal (so I think) at the Embassy Suites in downtown Tampa....$180 total for two nights!!!! Booked on hotels.com. Lots of hotels in Westshore/downtown dirt cheap right now that weekend.

Tourism must be slow in the Bay area.  I got 2 nights at the Holiday Inn Rocky Point for about $140 for Fri/Sat.  In the past I've paid  about $100 per night for this hotel.  I also enjoy going to Bahama Breeze (next door) before/after the game.  GB!

I read a story recently, I can't remember if it was in the Times or Tribune, that some hotels (and apartments actually) in Tampa are suffering from upwards of 40 percent vacancy at times in the past when they would have been booked full weeks in advance, sounds terrible.
