I don't believe USF has had one, do you think we will get one in the next couple of years.  I am referring to when ESPN has desk step near the stadium and Chris, Lee, and Kirk have fans going nuts in the background.  It was be great for USF to have the game one time.

The only way I see USF getting a CGD is late in the season, if there is something big on the line aka USF vs Miami and we are both in the hunt for a National Championship, or undefeated and playing to win the BE...

I think there is a small chance they show up in Gainesville in week 2. But there are some huge games also in Week 2. We will just have to see. And I agree with Jason that if we were to get them in Tampa it would probably be a game to decide the Big East late season or a game against Miami.

If we run out (beat Florida) and are undefeated at Miami they would be there.

Wasn't USF @Army on college game day? I believe that is the only one in which USF was involved.

Absolutely ZERO chance of this happening.

There are some bigger games that weekend that will spark more national intrest (their either gonna be at Notre Dame/Michigan, Miami/Ohio State, Penn State/Bama). It's only a huge match up to our fans, I don't think many people care about USF v UF (that is until we beat them ). Who knows if we have an awesome season maybe they'll be in South Bend to greet us early next season. But as far as them coming to Tampa, I don't see them coming for another 4-5 years.

They've already said they're going to Penn State/Bama week 2. Week 1 at UNC/LSU.

Gameday will be a tough get, they've not gone to Miami in the past because the Stadium isn't on campus. They were worried people wouldn't be there for the show.

Yes, but USF was barely mentioned -- they were there for Army.

ESPN was going to Gameday in Tampa in 2007 for the Cincinnati @ USF game (USF was #2 in the country), but USF losses to Rutgers and U Conn eliminated that. They ended up going to Oregon.

Difficult to understand how you can say USF was barely mentioned when we shut Army out.

I think The Sheriff caused quite a stir among the Army fans.

I seem to remember it was raining and they couldn't find Rocky's head for Corso to wear. I believe it was eventually found for him in time.
