Working on travel and hotel for Thanksgiving weekend.  Any guesses as to kickoff time?

Since no one may know until, what, 9 days before, here is a suggestion.

Let's assume you are looking to say for just 1 night down there.

Book 1 room for Friday night which covers a noon start.  You drive down Friday night, check in, go to the game and drive home afterwards.

Book a separate room under a separate reservation for Saturday night in case it's a 3:00 pm (if you don't want to drive back at 7:00pm) or 7:00 pm game.  Drive down Saturday morning and you have a room for after the game.

Once you find out the start time of the game, cancel the reservation you don't want.

We've done this for the Miami game and others in the past, including bowl games.  The year we reached #2 we have reservations in all the major cities for the bowl games.  Just canceled them when we lost 3 in a row. 

Just don't book on sites that make you prepay with no refund.

Good on Cousin Ricky.  I was thinking of making it a weekend in South Beach.  Nothing says the holidays like a Bulls win, Mojitos and cigars....
