I'm losing count of who is for this years class meaning playing immediately and who will play in 2011 class.  Also with all the news over the last few weeks I have no idea how many scholarships we have so far.  Does a guy count against our numbers this year when he sits out a year because of the ncaa rules also.  I just know that this team is going to look incredibly good once all these guys make it to the field.

Just to clarify.

Gidrey (ECU transfer going to USF grad school), Knowles  (JUCO transfer) will play in 2010.

Boyd (ND transfer), Aycock (NC St transfer not currently on scholarship at USF) and Scott (CU transfer) will have to sit out this year.

Even though a transfer is not eligible to play immediately, he still counts towards this year's class. Aycock is hoping that he wiill get a USF scholarship for the spring semester which will then count towards next year's class.

At the moment, I don't know how many scholarships are available for this class. I just hope that Holtz knows.  ;D

Just to clarify.

Aycock (NC St transfer not currently on scholarship at USF)

Aycock is transferring from Auburn and will have to sit out a season. Bowens is the WR from NC St, who could be eligible to play this year, assuming he gets in to graduate school at USF.

Thanks.

I thought I was making a mistake, but I was too lazy to check. On other boards , I can go back and edit.

My heads spinning.  ;D

I think you will see people leave the team or just not come back and free up some space.

No, I was looking for Rivals or scout on what his stats are and size and position.  Thanks in advance.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
