All the signs are in play that UF is overlooking us:

Early kickoff

Game before their first road game @ Tenn

We are seen as a 'directional' school from down the road

They (UF) are preseason #6 in the country

Be very careful Gators.  USF may give you all you want if you're not paying attention.  If USF can pull off the big upset this could be the beginning of the end for Urban.  They will turn on him quickly.

If so, I wonder if he will call up Holtz afterwards to find out how his team lost,  just like he did with Leavitt when he was coaching BGSU.  ;D

Way too early for this sort of talk.

Urban's no idiot .... FSU last year .... Auburn in 2007 .... He'll do all he can do to avoid the overlooking factor ... but it will still boil down to the UF players' mindset .... I say we intentionally play a close game against Stony Brook to send a message.  8-)

Triple is right, they will not over look us, they know we have talent.  Plus, they are working in a new QB and other players and have to adjust with Tebow being gone.  I believe they think we are the perfect tune up for SEC games.

Early kickoff

What does that have to do with anything?

We are seen as a 'directional' school from down the road

I think it's safe to assume UF players and coaches know USF is in a BCS conference and has beaten ranked teams in ... five straight seasons is it? With three wins over top 10 teams in that period on top of it. They may still be arrogant enough to lump USF into the same trash bin UCF and the like are in, but it seems unlikely to me.

They (UF) are preseason #6 in the country

Unless you have the gift of foresight, you have no way of knowing this. Some random blog or magazine's power rankings aren't the same as the two polls used for this purpose.

If USF can pull off the big upset this could be the beginning of the end for Urban.  They will turn on him quickly.

Uh, no.

The fact UF even scheduled us shows exactly what they "think" of us.

When UF scheduled us we weren't in the Big East.  I don't think they would schedule us today.  They don't want to have to "work" to get the win at home in non-conference games.  That being said, it is stlll going to be a huge coup if the Bulls gore the Gators.

GO BULLS!!!!
