At a USF social function with Doug W. and CSH; new soccer stadium being announced tomorrow and he said don't believe what you hear and read-and I quote "were in a great position where we are at". Dr Genshaft I guess was just elected to a board for the NCA and basically said she's doing her thing

WTH does that mean?  Of course we're in a great position "where we're at."  What I'm worried about is what position are we going??

I hope Genshaft is "doing her thing" to make sure the USF Bulls stay in a BCS conference.  Otherwise, fire her last Tuesday!

Judy knows what she's doing - you should absolutely trust her. She just went through this in 2003, and remember we were a longshot to get into the Big East up until it was about ready to happen.

It means our AD told a fan something to make feel good without actually telling you anything on the off chance you go and post it on a message board. That being said, we are in a good position.

So "that is just being said"

It was more of a response to tau.reanb post saying what the hell does that mean than your post.
