An excellent experience

I would like to commend and thank Coach Skip Holtz and his staff and players for putting on a great Junior Bulls Football Camp this week. My 6-year-old cannot stop talking about how much he enjoyed his interaction with Coach Holtz and former and current Bulls players. Guys like Marquell Blackwell and BJ Daniels were great mentors for these kids. I cannot believe there weren't more kids there for such an affordable and up-close experience.

If this new coaching staff brings the same enthusiasm and intensity this fall as they did for our kids, I look for our Bulls to do great things this season. As a season ticket holder since day one of this program, I can't tell you how confident I am in the direction the program is going.

I have twin sons who are also six years old and who also had a great time at this camp.  The Junior Bulls Camp far exceeded my expectations.  I would encourage any of you who have young kids to mark your calendars right now (perhaps tickle the last day in May 2011) to remind you to sign up for next year's camp.  Skip, his staff and his players did a great job!

And to just give a little love to other USF sports, there are currently youth camps going on in girls' volleyball, boys hoops and boys soccer on campus... and all 3 have another session in July, as do, I believe, other sports. Info at http://gousfbulls.com/

So as to not derail the topic of this thread, if I had kids, I'd send them to this camp.  ;D Seriously, Hootie rules. What's not to love about an inflatable owl that antagonizes the student section?
