Notre Dame just defeated Cornell in the men's lacrosse semi-finals, punching their ticket to the title game on Memorial Day in Baltimore. Certainly, when the Big East conference began playing lacrosse this season, if it was said a conference school would head to the title game, Notre Dame wouldn't have been the first one to come to mind.

I will be cheering for ND due to my deep hatred for Duke.  That UVA vs Duke game was a classic, except for the last 12 seconds.

bullwark--my sentiments exactly. I'm not exactly fond of Notre Dame either, but I can't STAND Dook.

In all sports but football, yes. I'm not saying I like their cushy arrangement, but I acknowledge it exists.
