Well, the baseball team lost tonight, ending their season. They played one hell of a game, going 11 innings against the Big East Champion Louisville Cardinals.

Started off shaky going down 7-1 through 5 innings. Then came an hour long rain delay.  After that the Bulls woke up.  Mende hit a 2-run homer in the 8th to make it 7-6. In the bottom of the 9th, with 2 out and a full count, Llerena hits hi first career homerun to tie it up.  Quackenbuch pitched from the 7th inning to the 11th, only giving up 2 hits in the 11th.  Sadly, they fell just short.

It is one of the most amazing baseball games I've ever watched. The fans, the pitching, the highs and lows.  I hope our players savor this and carry it with them for the next 8 months.

I still can't believe that USF can consistently under perform in a sport that they should at least finish in the top three of the BE.  Prado has been a bust so far.
