No big surprise.  I think there will be 3-4 more.  This is normal at the end of the semester for a couple to leave but we will have a few more than usual due to the coaching change.

I think that he could have been one of our best running backs but never found the system that was a match.

That and the fact he was either hurt or had academic issues. Loved him in that Kansas game.

I don't know how good he was on special teams.  I'm sure that is what position he was going to play with the depth at RB.

Perhaps we could move Tyson Butler to RB. He was a great RB in HS.

Named Sports Illustrated National Player of the Week ... Four games in which he ran for at least 200 yards ... Ran for 100-plus yards in nine of 11 games ... Ran for 235 yards and four TDs in win over South Ft. Myers ... 234 yards with two TDs against Golden Gate ... Had three interceptions on defense ... Second team all-state in Class 4A ... Class 4A District Player of the Year ... First team all-area and all-county ... Played in Florida's North-South All-Star Game in Lakeland and the Lee County All-Star Game ... Ranked 64th-best running back in nation by Rivals.com ... Rivals ranked him 98th top prospect at any position in Florida ... Ranked 71st in nation among runners by Scout.com ... Also recruited by Indiana, Iowa State, Pittsburgh and West Virginia.
