Coach Holtz' is supposed to throw out the 1st pitch at the rays game. Maybe FF will be at 12, last 2 hours, then convoy to the trop. Hopefully the team will be on time, and it won't be an issue.

Not sure what the Bucs' pre season schedule is, but that could have been the only day the event could have worked.

The Bucs have preseason home games the following 2 weeks. Last year it was on August 15th.

So this date ties directly in with the Bucs Preseason scheduling. It's just unfortunate that the rays have a nationally televised game at 4pm.

Personally, I think it'd be cooler to do the event in the Sun Dome, and have player competitions. I've heard of other BCS schools who do this, and they have random competitions for the football players (weightlifting, high jump, etc). It'd also be COOLER weather wise, last year was just brutal.

****, I forgot this game was at 4pm. There's no way I'll be able to do both unless its early in the morning which I highly doubt it will be.
