I can tell you two things about Delany: he’s smart and he’s ruthless. He could care less about anything other than what’s best for him—and, thus, his conference—which makes him a very good commissioner if not someone you would want to trust to tell you where the sun will rise tomorrow.

Delaney's a ***** - he is the main (if not only) stumbling block in place that is preventing a playoff in D1A.  He is so cocky, he has even stated in interviews that a football playoff is probably in the best interests of college football, but he is not concerned with that, he is only concerned in what is in best interests (and maximizing profits) for the Big 10.
