Also assumes Tags figures out how to make more money with a BE Network and Championship Game:Non-football1. Providence2. St. Johns3. Steton Hall4. Villanova5. Georgetown6. DePaul7. Marquette8. Notre Dame (see note one)Football1. Boston College2. UConn3. Syracuse4. Pittsburgh5. West Virginia6. Maryland7. Cincinnati8. Louisville9. Memphis10. East Carolina11. South Florida12. Central FloridaNote One: Notre Dame has to play four (4) Big East teams each year. Two games with Big East football teams have to be away games for Notre Dame!Baskettball Tournment: We split into two (2) ten (10) team divisions that play eighteen (18) games with their division members. Any games scheduled with Big East members in the other division are considered non-conference games, which allow rivalries to continue each year,So let us get to the tourney. It will stay at the sixteen (16) team formate. The best eight (8) teams in each division will be seeded. The first and second teams in each division get first round byes. But the Big 10 is making big $$$ RIGHT NOW with the Big 10 Network. The SEC is making big $$$ RIGHT NOW with its new TV contract. Why do you think that two ACC schools would pay a sizable exit fee, and suffer a multi-year loss of revenue, for some speculative "maybe we can eventually make you more money" proposition? You might as well just pick the fifteen best football programs, add in USF, and start circulating that as a grand plan.Bottom line, none of the ACC teams are leaving for a less profitable situation. Not gonna happen. If the SEC comes calling, that's a different situation. But there is no possible scenario where the Big East retains its 8 teams and adds 2 from the ACC. It's just never going to happen. If there's any sort of combo, it's going to be SWC-Big 8 style. That means 8-12 ACC teams and 4 BE teams.

You play everyone in your pod 2 times and everyone else once. That makes for 20 game conference schedule.
