BRISTOL, Conn. -- In the most ambitious pre-draft talent analysis ever performed, three-time Emmy Award-winning Sport Science hosted by John Brenkus will run 12 special segments throughout ESPN's NFL Draft coverage, analyzing the incredible abilities of Jason Pierre-Paul (South Florida), Ndamukong Suh (Nebraska), Joe Haden (Florida) and Bruce Campbell (Maryland) along with many other top potential draft picks.

Tests will include the use of innovative wireless technology to measure how quickly each athlete accelerates to his top gear; the use of high-speed photography and motion capture sensors to reveal how big a target a receiver gives his quarterback; infrared trajectory measurements and Eye Tracker technology to evaluate a quarterback's reaction time, accuracy, release time and ball spin rates; and the use of a crash test dummy to measure the force of impacts.

Sport Science brings top-level collegiate and professional athletes together with cutting-edge technology in state-of-the-art scientific facilities to test the limits of human athletic abilities, while challenging popular assumptions about athletes and sports.

The NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 22 with the first round airing in primetime on ESPN.  Pierre-Paul has been projected as a likely first round and as one of the two best defensive ends in the draft.

The following players are scheduled to appear in the Sport Science segments during ESPN's draft coverage:

Jahvid Best (RB, California)

Navarro Bowman (LB, Penn State)

Bruce Campbell (OT, Maryland)

Selvish Capers (OT, West Virginia)

Sounds pretty cool. That show is pretty awsome with the way they break down every aspect of athletic feats and moves.

I think it's going to air during the draft. Like when a player gets drafted they can show what makes him so good at his position or in between picks to kill some time. less time staring at mel kipers hair is a plus

There will also probably be an airing on the Discovery channel, but I don't know when.
