JPP is too much of an unknown to the NFL and fans...only playing one year, for USF in the BE and the fact that there is still some uncertainty on where he ends up going...I think the NFL thought other wise.

Plus, if I was him I would rather be with friends and family then in NY any ways...

As for Tebow, it could have been a couple PR teams that got together and decided that he would have been the next Quinn or Rogers and sat there...and that wouldn't be a good image for the NFL or Tebow.
