maybe this is a dumb questions, but is he trying out at QB in NFL?  I read here of him trying to become some sort of a DB in the nfl..

can't see him as an NFL DB

i think he'd rather shoot for QB and if it doesn't go his way he can fall back on the CFL and make a couple hundred K

If he wasn't a QB, he could be a runner, but would probably never see much playing time, though he is pretty quick. With his frame and speed, he could have been a DB or receiver if he was one in college, but they're not just positions you can go out and learn quick.

He'd make a good practice squad QB, or even serve as a 3rd string backup and work some special teams or something. Definitely could work some wildcat formations if more teams were to do it.

Best bet is still probably to go CFL if no one in the NFL comes calling.
