I can't imagine being able to play football with a bulging disc in my neck.  Typically can't just "fix" those and be like new again.  I'm not surprised he's hanging 'em up.

Probably a smart decision for his long term health. Football is just a game, don't need to go through pain every second the rest of your life. Good luck to him.

Thats a shame, but definitely a smart move for his long term health. Maybe he's acting upon a doctor's advice?

We're going to find out really soon. If Hermann is on the practice field then this is just a rumor (and a dangerous one at that).
