And if LL packs on the pounds like the coaches want him to, that gives us 4 or 5 decent backs and there is a chance we see some I formation this season so Kelly could see some action.

I believe Samuels is either leaving or expected to leave.  We still have a boatload of RBs, I'm not real worried there.  It's the four walk-ons at QB that have me a tad nervous.

I have faith in CSH, that he will deliver a quality product this fall with some interesting options.  Watch, you will see a major improvement, but I am sure we will have some weaknesses, but these are smart coaches they will work through it and lead these kids.

It will take a season for them to figure out the other teams and then start building a team that can win and own the Big East.

Battles should have a good year. Hayes will also make an impact. While I really wanted to see what Ford could do when given the chance its not the end of the world.

The new OC said there are going to be alot more screens and plays to get guys in space where they can make plays. Lamar and Hayes are both burners who will be well suited for those plays. Then you have Mo, Murray and Battles to get the tough yards inside. Kelley is going to be blocker and a great guy to clear out space. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hayes be the starter and get 80% of the carries by midyear. The O line will be better and stronger and another year of training. I'm not as worried about offense as defense. Until we can stop the run we will get pounded by strong running teams. Also need to get better in the secondary and not give up the big play. I'm surprised they haven't given a schollie to another QB but maybe they can get a transfer after the Spring.
