why not just blow the whole system up....

make a south east conf, mid south conf, northeast conf, midwest con, southwest, northwest.

each conf gets 12 teams.  each conf winner gets BCS bid.  then 4 other at-large bids.

obviously it would never happen but this is getting crazy.

Makes too much sense for it to happen.

Eight 12 team leagues with the winner of each going into a playoff would be ideal.

They may get Rutgers or Syracuse, I doubt Uconn goes.  They just want another cream puff for Ohio State and Penn State to beat up on so those two battle it out for the Big 10 title every year.

I'd love for this to shape up properly.  But am afraid it will get kind of ugly.

I am glad most of the USF fan base knows it is lucky to be in the Big East conference and hasn't gone all delusional and hopes the ACC or the SEC gives us an invite. These columnists love writing this crap because they know their readers just eat it up. Oh if only we could move to "x" conference. The UCF and Orlando writers are just as delusional. I think it will be very anticlimatic when it happens.
