"The report will be made public when it is complete and it is a fact-finding review. It will then be sent to the President and athletic director, who will determine if the facts warrant any actions."

Seems a little backwards...you're going to make it public...then send a copy to Genshaft and Woolard?

Hmmm, maybe this guy wasn't the best for the job.

After they do all of that though, they are going to seriously consider interviewing the players.

Hoad noted that the player himself "has not complained" and that the review is based upon the third-party account from Millers' father Paul. Since the original online story appeared, Paul Miller has backed away from his remarks.

Hadn't heard that before so that's good news.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
