Didn't they steal memphis's basketball coach away?

Guest
boringNot really. Kentucky remains one of the list of "unflipped" teams. That's a great reason to play them.

They did steal Callipari away from Memphis, and for what it's worth, they are the all time NCAA hoops wins leader. Football has never been their strong suit, but they are much improved in recent years. They beat FSU in the music city bowl in '07. They aren't particularly good at any one thing, but they have a REALLY fast RB (Locke - purported sun 4.3 speed), an all-purpose offensive guy in Randall Cobb, and an alleged "shutdown corner" in Trevard Lindley.Like us, they are led by a freshman QB who is very talented, but still learning the ropes. They are a middle of the pack SEC team and could potentially finish second in the SEC east behind Florida (far, far behind Florida) and we are a middle of the pack BE team. I think it would be a pretty equal matchup against an SEC opponent, and its ALWAYS good to beat an SEC opponent on ESPN, for the sole reason of prying the lips of the ESPN commentators off of the SEC team's *ss, and having them say a few nice words about our conference.
