But the last two games have me convinced we cannot beat Miami.Rutgers is not as good as UM, and they shut us out. UL yesterday put up a ton of points on us and exposed our weaknesses. And those weaknesses are: special team play was horrible. Outside of our QB, no one can seem to take the load off of him. WR's still not running routes right and cannot seem to catch passes. BJ, is not the best QB in the world. He makes up for lack of play by being our top rusher, much like Grothe used to do. Our QB's always make us look better than we actually are on offense. And once again, our Defense showed why they are not as good as people seem to think we are. In fact, there are lots of weakness, but mostly on the pass D. We didn't stop UL very well. Not to mention that we commit stupid penalties on key plays. It is one thing when it is an accident on a play that doesn't matter much. But we negate some of our biggest plays and we also commit them on D when the other team was on a 3rd and 5, or something like that.We have tons of weaknesses and Miami will be prepared. I think our coaches pulled off a coup with FSU early in the season as they were playing terribly and didn't have Daniels game film to watch. UM is playing much better than that, and has tons of athletes who are very capable.I know I will get blasted on here for being negative about a game we have not even played. But sitting at the UL game yesterday, I realized that we don't have our act together even though the season is winding down.

Those two games they simply did not show up. The loss to Cincy looked completely different from the other two losses. If USF plays like they did at Pitt or at Rutgers we wouldn't be anyone in D-1A (including WKU).

We had 4 guys with 4+ catches and AJ Love with 121 yards receiving. That was without Carlton Mitchell who had been the recipient of the long ball. Also, BJ took a lot more of the intermediate and short passes than previous weeks. So I don't know where you get the we are going backwards. Now I did see a team that jumped up 14-0 on UL yesterday and then lose interest and focus until the last drive of the second quarter. Outside of one quarter they played well. Can they afford to give up a quarter to Miami? No, but it does happen.

We have a good shot at beating the Canes.
