I think wes should add a "standing appropriate" sign. What other signs are needed?

So I am a student here at USf and decided not to sit in the student section for the Louisville game in order to sit with my entire family. My dad went to Alabama and my grandfather went to Texas A&M so we did what we were taught from an early age to do at a college football game...Stand Up and get loud! Within 30 minutes a woman behind us screams (sit the F*** down! We can't see). She than calls security which comes over and threatens to kick us out of the game if we stood up again. This pissed us off but we kept yelling on defense. 30 minutes later another security guard comes and tells us to be quiet because we were annoying the fans around us with our yelling!!!! Apparently at USF you have to sit down and be quiet the entire game....what kind of ******** college football is this. USF needs to start a stand up and be proud campaign or something because our alumni and older fans=major weak sauce!  >:(

just sit in the endzone sections and you really won't have to worry about it

If you can't see, then STAND UP.

TripleB, where's that picture?

I wouldn't complain too much about the people that were there, seeing that at least 10,000 or so, maybe 20,000 decided not to attend and that apparently included a lot of students.

That's what I thought the "Sucky" part would be.  All the no-shows.

That is also very weak that so few people attended. I look forward to college gamedays and it is a big part of my college experience and one of the reasons why I picked USF over smaller schools. When I am told that I cannot stand up, cannot dance to HOT, and cannot cheer...the games are no longer nearly as fun and there is absolutely no atmosphere within the stadium. USF games are a waste of money if you can't sit in the endzones...might as well just stay home and watch it on t.v. and use the cash for beer money. SERIOUSLY.

It's not true of everyone, but from what I see, the further down the road you get from being a student the more likely you are NOT to stand the whole game.  Instead, standing at key points.

With a student section of 12,501 sounds like you picked the right school.

USF could solve this problem and make money at the same time, by selling standing room only season tickets to those fans who want to stand the entire game and save the seats for people who actually want to use them most of the time.   ;)  ;D
