The University of South Florida women’s basketball team held the North Florida Ospreys to just 48 points in a 64-48 victory Saturday night to move to 2-2 on the season.

USF pulled out their best defensive effort of the season to date, allowing just 48 points, the lowest of the season, while forcing 24 turnovers on the night.

Senior Jessica Lawson finished with her third double-double of the season, as she put up 14 points and added 12 rebounds.

The team does not look good at all. Unless they get a swift kick in the you know where, they will probably not make the NIT.  We've struggled to a 2-2 against UNF, St Peters, & FAMU. At one point, a thought crept into my mind that the men's team could possibly have a better record at the end.
