nice win today over the ville

all-time, we're now a middling .500 in all the categories that count, going 17-17 in big east play, 2-2 in bowl games, and 1-1 in florida big 4 games.

I would love to see us finish the season with winning records in all 3 of these categories.

go bulls!!

beat the canes and the huskies!!

Would be nice.

I'm obviously an underachiever...but of the two, NEXT SATURDAY is the biggest and quite honestly a win there finishes the season nicely enough for me.

Beating UConn doesn't get us anything in the Big East standings really.

Winning a bowl game will make it a much better experience for those attending.  Plus, when it's all said and done it would be a nice way to end.

Again, the big game left is SATURDAY - Miami.  That's the one that I would really like to have.  The other two then don't matter as much to me.

I think the UConn game is more important than you make it sound.  Beating them gives us a 4-3 conference record, matching our best ever; and depending on some other teams, we can still finish 3rd in the Big East (not to forget a chance at the 10-win season).  I know that seems like grasping for straws/looking at the silver lining, but I think that accomplishing that really gives us a boost considering the mid-season meltdown.

Outrunner, I'm not trying to discount it really.  I want to win it.  But I want to beat Miami more...I think it has more positive impact to the program.

The bowl game sort of matters who we're playing..

I'm not saying your wrong or anything, but I think it's pretty sad that we've set our expectations to this.. I only say that because I, too, feel like that's really the only thing we're playing for nowadays:  a 3rd place finish.

Jesus christ, no one is asking for a national championship and winning an SEC title and an undefeated conference record-- we just want to compete for a title and want meaningful conference games at the end of the season.  I don't think that's too much to ask.
