Noriega hits a three to make it appear closer than it is. 63-58.

Have you followed this game at all?

What stick is up your ***? I was at work, so its been tough. But I do know we were up and we should have won if not for terrible FT%.

I simply mean the 3 to bring us within 5 is too little too late considering the time left.

No stick, just helping where help is needed.  Your comment was just unnecessary and misplaced.   It was clear that it was an uninformed comment.

I'm not sure what your purpose is in pursuing this (as is the case with most of your disputes). Noriega hit a 3 with :50 left to make it 63-58 and poss. arrow SCAR. You cannot tell me with the dichotomy in each teams respective free throw pctg that a USF win was probable at that juncture.

Nor was it a game in which the Bulls were "out of it" and that shot made it look "closer than it was" - which was your original comment.   I think the largest USC lead was 7, so it was never a case of needing the game to look closer than it was.  The Bulls were in it and clearly could have won this game had some FTs AFTER THAT THREE dropped through the basket.

Alright, Brad. You keep continuing to misrepresent "closer than it was"

Dude, you misused that phrase which started the whole thing ..... The use that phrase indicates that USC was blowing USF out the whole game until the end when the Bulls made some baskets to make it look respectable.

Last time I'm going to address this. I said "closer than it is" which has a different connotation than using "closer than it was" 45 minutes after a game ends. In accordance with that point in the game, it was more than appropriate. My comment was DURING the game which in and of itself should quell any outrage.  I've yet to see an argument otherwise, apart from "BUT WHAT IF WE MADE FREE THROWS" even though I already took that into account. Can't say I'm surprised to be getting responses of this variety from FL83, TripB, and Brad, though. See? I can make sweeping generalizations too.

didn't stay up to watch the game, but if the largest SC lead was 7, that is a college BB game that can go either way.  Bulls will need to beat UNCW to continue upward climb

Jones grabs rebound only to let it slip out of his hands and out of bounds. Thats how his year has gone.

This year has gone good so far. USC jr. has a solid BBall team and so do we.

You obviously have paid little attention to him this year. He isn't the dominant player for USF like year's past and his free throw shooting is horrendous.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
