The men's basketball team emptied the bench?  Go Bulls I love it!

Death Row Always!!!!

In a win over a quality opponent? Hmm...don't know. Now we have emptied the bench in plenty of blowout games that we were on the wrong side of the score.

We rarely have a bench to empty.  Most the time we are squeaking by with just enough bodies to not be disqualified.  This is a nice change... and talent is definitely there now.

Nice to start 2-0 against decent quality opponents.  But just like football, don't go getting too excited yet.  Virginia was down 3 starters when we played.  A suspension, an injury and a "personal" thing.  We should be better this year but don't go getting all upset when we lose the majority of our Big East games again.  Although our top 2 big men are better, there still isn't any depth in the front court.

I just don't want to hear the same stuff like we hear about the football team going 12-0 before the season starts and everyone wants to bail out on the team when they don't meet expectations.  I said this BB team should be better and I'd love to see a post season appearance.  The Big East is always going to be good but it may not be as deep this year.  We should win more in-conference games than ever.  Not trying to be negative, just don't want to see people start expecting a 4 loss season or something outrageous.

So you're saying we won't lose a conference game?
