Theres no way Virginia is beating us by 10. They aren't beating us at all. Their first game they beat Longwood by 13, some independent school I've never heard of. I'm not too worried.

They are down to two capable bigs, and only 5 guards. Get Landesburg in foul trouble and it will be a long day for the Cavs.

Longwood is in VA also... smaller school... we should beat UVA tonight. Wish I could be there to root against J Crew U! Grew up a big UVA fan when Ralph Sampson was playing there... he was my idol in hoops until Allen Iverson graced the hardwood. Bulliever has such an affection for AI, he's letting his kids get the AI loyalty tats on their necks when they turn 13. AI is all heart and hustle... just getting a raw deal in Memphis like he got in Detroit, Denver, and Philly.

Reading some of the stuff off of their site it looks like Virgina will speed up the tempo tonight to try and tire out the Bulls. They saw the box score that said we got zero points from the bench in the SMU game. I think the Bulls are more then capable of playing fast but we will have to have a couple of bench players step up at home and I expect that will happen.

Landesberg is a problem and USF cannot let Jeff Jones get hot from deep. Contain their big ticket and stay home on the shooters I see the Bulls winning by a comfortable margin.

Landesberg looked good and we did well to contain him.  I was even more happy to see Scott get in foul trouble (fouled out).  He was the one guy that had a post game that we couldn't seem to stop... they just didn't go to him enough.  He had a little fall away baby hook shot from the block that was smooth as silk.  Once he fouled out... it was obvious they were settling for 3 pointers the rest of the night.
