meeting @ Giants Stadium...question...WHY??

I recall reading somewhere here of on GA's blog that the Bulls practiced or had a meeting at Giants Stadium prior to the Rutgers game...quick question ....WHY?  Seems like a distraction to me...those types of "site seeing" excursions are good during a bowl week but not in middle of season. Any insight into this would be helpful.

Did they have any practices or walkthrus @ Rutgers Stadium before the game?

USF could not get the time for Rutgers Stadium for the walk through. So, you can add that to another thing that you hate Rutgers for. For not having time open for a USF walk through is pretty classless.

Just to clarify, the Big East requires that home teams make their stadiums available to opponents for a walkthrough the day before a game. USF wasn't able to make the walkthrough at Rutgers work with its schedule, so they held it at Giants Stadium. I don't think Rutgers did anything wrong here.

Thanks for the clarification, Greg. I still don't understand how they couldnt schedule the walk-through @ the Stadium in which they're playing. I understand that they hold walk thrus in the hotel if weather does not permit, was that the case here?
