bother scheduling Thursday night games if they are a guaranteed loss / embarrassment for the program  ??? Woolard needs to get a clue and stop booking games for Thursday nights.

What makes it more embarrassing to me is when the coaches and players preached at how they were looking forward to getting revenge against Rutgers. To come out there and have the offense play like that, it was just a low point for the program. The defense did all they could to keep the game within reach at halftimes, but the speciall teams and offense really let the team down.

Yes and No.

Woolard has to consent. Nothing is finalized until being rubber-stamped by USF/TSA (see: Rutgers 08, originally scheduled for nat'l TV week of ACC Chmp Game)

You think we were embarrassed Thursday? Imagine the field day ESPN would have with us if we all of a sudden were to turn down Thursday night games.

USF needs to conquour that curse of Thursday night on ESPN. Obviously, USF has already won a game on a Thursday, but it was not on ESPN. USF has yet to win a game with Erin Andrews on the sideline though which includes that Oklahoma game.

I don't care if its a Tuesday morning game, I just want more than a handful of players to show up for the game instead of rolling over and vomitting allover themselves.

I'm sure that ESPN would have "USF will not schedule Thursday night games" on the bottom line for weeks on end.

The problem isn't thursday, it's that the team is never ready for Big East play.

I doubt ESPN would really care if we "declined to play Thurs night games."

Still not as bad as, "Florida refuses to play road games for OOC (unless its FSU)." Now THAT'S embarassing.
