I think he's inferring that it was a "behind closed doors" type of comment, not one that actually made it to the media.

While I agree that it is very easy to come on an internet message board, hiding behind the veil of anonymity, and make these kinds of claims, do you really think that it's that far fetched to think that a player and/or coach of a team that has beaten another team by 33 and 31 points in consecutive years could say these things, especially off the record?

I only believe that sort of stuff when it comes in third hand or greater.
