Just a note to the football team-- hang in there guys. Don't ever give up.

You can do it. Take this crappy feeling you got from this game and use it to motivate yourselves to get better every day.

we will be there to cheer you on. Make us proud.

I'm sure the coaches will come up with some fixes to help overcome some of the problems.    There is still a lot to play for.  Hopefully, we have a rebound against the Cards.  :P

I too shall join this post of encouragement - not disparagement.

Get it together and be ready to go on Saturday.  There is still a lot at stake.  If this board is any indication, losses expose character flaws.  Show us an ability to come together, emerge with leadership and get things going in the right direction.  That's what I want to see.

You know, getting beat up by the neighborhood bully is not so bad.  And it may take a few poundings until you learn to put up a better fight the next time you square off or better yet just not bring your lunch money along.

nice post, though I dont think players or coaches read any of these, negative or postitive.  but i really dont know that.

We got beat up in 07, but I wouldn't consider it a pounding.  Took a three point loss.  Albeit it is still a loss, but I think we put up a better fight than last night.  Grothe led a nice comeback while being chased all night.

Nice post Mike!  I know Mutt and myslef still wore our USF shirts to work today.  And yes I had a lot of "What happened last night?" questions, but I'm still proud of my SCHOOL!

Sitting here in my office right now, with my USF Friday gear on. Just like every Friday during football season. Mrs. S was down at MacDill this morning decked out in her game day gear.

It's a loss. Not the end of life as we know it. Try to fix it and move on.

I don't get ribbed at work, really. People know I don't take this as life or death. I've got no reason to be embarrassed. Family and work before football and even then, it's just entertainment. However, when I am asked what happened, all I say is what I always say, "Don't know, I'm just a fan. I'm not a player or a coach and definitely no expert. You'll have to ask those guys."
