Whether it is this year, next year, or five years from now the problem is USF does not have the money to go out and get the type of coach, that is perceived to be needed to propel the program forward. Unfortunately, the longer Leavitt stays either the worse or the better things can get. If in the next five seasons Leavitt wins the Big East then all is well but the pattern like the last three seasons continues then; Recruiting takes a dip, Season tickets take a dip, USF Football become irrelevant USF can not afford to let the image of the football team continue to be ridiculed on television because it hurts all those three points I mentioned above. If Leavitt is relieved of his duties who does USF turn to with no capital. Some hopeful mid-major coach? Then Doug Wollard would have put himself on the chopping block. If Leavitt stays and coaches out his contract. He potentially can kill all the momentum surrounding the program and Doug Wollard is looking like he was too loyal to Leavitt. With all this mire I suggest my fellow Bulls Football fans, "Prepare for the worse and hope for the best!" The next couple of years are not going to be easy.
