We fly up here, deal with cold and have to sit and watch that crap. Thank God it didn't rain or we would have been done by halftime. Every time it seemed there was something to get excited about, we turned the ball over. Muffed punts, muffed kickoffs, fumbles, interceptions. Really? This is Div 1 Football? We sat near some big donors who had been in the box with the AD and they aren't real happy about the direction of USF football. Do they carry enough clout for changes to be made? Doubtful, but they are in Doug's ear. The long term contract is a serious problem.Have to say that the RU fans we ran into this year were nowhere near as horrible as years past. Actually had nice conversations with some and 2 guys gave up their seats on the bus for us on the way back to the parking lot. Had our Bulls gear on so that was a shock. As I always say, we can't make these trips solely to watch USF and hope they win. We turn them into mini vacations. If not, I'd be seriously pissed about spending so much money to watch a team get their butts kicked. Now I'm done.

Well considering they probably see us in the same light we see Syracuse fans, it's kind of expected. I never talk smalk with Syracuse fans 'cause I would feel downright guilty, and like a douche. I actually admire them for making the trip down here knowing full well the outcome, so that's probably what goes through Rutgers fans' heads now when they see you there. USF should have played better. The coaching staff claimed they spent time preparing for Rutgers and it was the same story, even worse than before. I really believe they will let Leavitt coach out his contract, simply because they can not afford to bring in the type of coach needed to propel the program forward. My concern with letting Leavitt coach out his contract is how bad will he hurt the team in the mean time. There are impacts to these high exposure loses:Television time may diminishSeason ticket sales will be impactedRecruiting

Guest Scherdin
The problem I have is the jackal and hyde of this team the last few years. I'm to the point where I'm not sure I want to watch them. I'm with Matt, I'd rather watch my 2 month old squirm around on the floor then get all worked up over these guys.I had a few friends call me and ask what we were doing and I didn't have an answer, it's like the coaches choose when they want the kids to show up and when to lay down. I understand our recent success has pushed the expectations a little. But we are getting embarrassed out there now. I'd be surprised if we get any more primetime games for a while. Who wants to watch that garbage?I'm thinking of going back to following this team ala 2005, when just a win was good and if we were fortunate to make a December bowl even better.
