Kudos to our defense tonight in the first half. To have 4 turnovers and still just be 13 pts down was amazing I thought. They got pretty worn down by the end or the game but, that had to be expect when the offense continued to sputter and misfire.

true story, if not for the solid defensive play in the first half, the game would have been over by half time. People can ride Kion Wilson for talking all they want, but the man was still playing tough football laying hits until the end of the game.

In the first half RU had something like 29 plays in our territory and yet only scored one TD. The defense was the only and I mean ONLY bright spot tonight. I think Tresey did his job. I bet those guys are gassed right now.

The defense played well and did keep us close in the first half.  I would not be surprised one bit if they weren't playing on fumes the second half of the game.  You can not keep the defense on the field that long and expect to prevent the other team's offense from hitting us like they did.

I'm just posting to put this back at the top. For as bas as last night was this was out only bright spot. The defensive players and staff gave all they had on the field. I didn't agree with all of Kion's talking and what not but, the defense played with some major heart out there.

Well Kion did step up.  He had 18 tackles which I think was a career high for him.

I agree they really stepped up and kept the game close for us.  However, lets not forget for the 2nd game in a row they let the other team come out, punch us in the mouth, and score on their opening drive.  The O was able to respond vs. WVU but they couldnt here.  It was all downhill from a morale standpoint from there.
