When I looked at the schedule this year I thought we would handle these Thursday games better because they all had Byes leading in. That just has not been the case. What does the coaching staff do? The team comes out so flat you could see this before kick off. There was not zip, no urgency, no will. Do we just shut down for 10 days? or the opposite, do we work too hard, think too much, and then get waxed by game time.I give up. This is just horrible, and we have shown now that we will not sniff the top 25 for a long, long, long time. Maybe not until mid year next season. Even if we beat the Gators. They have waaayyyy more talent than us. They are just that good. It's not the coaching. Rutgrls is 31 points better than us. /sarcasm

I included bowl games because of the time off to prepare.2009 -- W; L; Cincy, Rutgers2008 -- W; Syracyse, Memphis L; Rutgers2007 -- W; North Carolina L; Oregon2006 -- W; Pittsburg, ECU L;2005 -- W; Rutgers L; Pittsburgh, NC StateSo, since 2005 USF is 6 - 6 (better than his BE record I think). If you exclude bowl games and look just at regular season bye weeks USF is 5-4.This is where I used for USF historical records (of course 2009 we all know). Certainly could have missed one or two.http://www.jhowell.net/cf/scores/SouthFlorida.htm
