Considering the strength of the Kansas passing attack, shouldn't this be bigger news than a 1 sentence blurb at the bottom of an article?

I think Tyson Butler is doubtful.

Might be a misprint.

From Greg's blog Monday:

"Butler, who suffered the injury on special teams Saturday against Central Florida, was walking gingerly, and the severity of his injury is unknown."

Yeah, it's almost certainly Tyson Butler.

Per Greg's blog (Wednesday):

Redshirt freshman cornerback Tyson Butler still has a boot on his injured ankle

We've been playing a lot of Nickel anyways with Safety Carlton Williams covering the slot and Verpaele/Gachette in with Nate Allen.  Butler is behind Quenton Washington at CB anyways.  It will be an issue of Murphy or Roberts gets injured pressing Washington into action.

Amari did not play CB for USF my friend.  We are deep but mediocre at CB this year (safety also).  However, take comfort in the wide selection Burnham has:

Baker, Murphy, Roberts, Wilson, Gachette, Allen, Williams, Verpaele - we have plenty of fresh legs available!
