Selvie racked up huge, nation-leading numbers, Clebert was a stopper in the middle...do we miss Coach McCarney more than we realize?

Selvie is getting double and triple teamed which he didn't see very much until the middle of the season on last year (most of his production was on the front end of the season). We have two young guys in the DT rotation (Genus McClain) that are very talented but don't have near the experience that Clebert had so there will be some growing pains but i think both will be better than Clebert in the long run. Buie has never been the model of consistency and even though he was a beast in the spring hes back to his usual self. I honestly would love to see more of Marshall in the rotation and even some of C-rob in at end in obvious passing situations. I think in the long run we will be fine but right now the unit is gelling and figuring out how to play effectively with each other.

You can not judge a Dline on sacks alone. I would gladly trade a dline that stops the run (something we did not do late in the season) over a dline that gets alot of sacks
