This isn't really sports related, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows if KU is going to be bringing their band along with them to Ray Jay.

Thanks

If so...then it wouldn't be the whole band.  It would be a smaller pep band like what UNC brought last year.

A school that far away doesn't have the dough to send a full band let alone ANY band away on a FRIDAY NIGHT!!!

lol

If they bring anything at all, HOT BAND will DESTROY THEM!!!

GO BULLS!!!

Didn't we bring a portion of our band to KU? I seem to remember that we did.

They don't have it on their site, but they've got last year's up, they had at least some representation at 11 of 12 games, but 7 1/2 of those were home (the 1/2 being vs. Mizzou in KC) and the only away games were in-conference with a pep band (full band to K-State). They one they didn't attend was aTm, so that leads me to believe we may be beyond their travel budget even for a pep band.

Edit: They had an exhibition the night of aTm, so I suppose my conclusion there is unfounded.

Since we're on the subject of bands...

for our band members here, in terms of size, how does this year's edition of the Herd Of Thunder compare with last year's?

I hope they bring their band, that would kick some "A" as far as atmosphere goes... from a recruiting and PR stand point if I were KU I would send at least a small band just for the highlight reels.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.  :gobulls

You guys not only get bigger every year, but better as well.

Keep up the great work...the difference in atmosphere when you guys ARE there & NOT there (away games) is huge.
