When the new student tickets policy was announced, a lot of people thought that there will be quite a few students who wont get the tickets due to high demand. However, in the first two games the demand for student tickets have been low with Athletics extending the request date both times.

I understand the first week it was only TN-Martin and it was raining but this is the biggest home game this season.  I hope we have 12,501 students.

Also, the one thing I can think of is that perhaps some students feel that they wont get a ticket and don't even try requesting it in the initial req. period.

Do your students realize that you guys are ranked in the Top 20 in most polls?

UCF students even soldout their student tix allotment for our Div I-AA game.

I think the student section will be completely full. For UTM there were about 10,000 tickets distributed. I think a few students will cry about having to sit in the upper deck. But I expect all 12,501 tickets to be filled.

Why are you still here? 4-0.......we have no use for you anymore. Be gone!

You cannot compare UCF student ticket section to the USF student section. Obviously ours is much bigger. We have the biggest student section in the Big East.

KL - how big is your student section?

As of last year, they had 8000 seats for students and couldn't fill them all for Texas:

From the Article:

For tomorrow's game against Texas, UCF couldn't give enough tickets away. Of the about 8,000 student tickets allotted for the lottery, only 7,636 were applied for.

Come on KL, and I was just about to believe you.

All UCiFers with the exception of Dog Pound (because he's a mod) are now directly put into my ignore list.  Congrats KL on being the first person I'll ignore.

As for the students, I'm pretty unimpressed with their effort.  This only goes to show how much better (and louder) the South Endzone is.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
