Please Get Rid of It.....................Never worked.  I don't know if we were setting something up or not, but I never saw it work.

And when we are milking the clock we need to snap the ball with only a few seconds left on the play clock.  I noticed there were times we snapped the ball with 15 seconds left on the play clock.  We're defeating the purpose by doing that.  C'mon, lets get our act together and play a complete game, Offense, Defense, Special Teams, and Coaching.  We can only beat ourselves in my humble opinion.

Do you mean the wishbone? If so, it's been pretty effective in goal-line situations.

Are you talking about the three running back formation? If you are then you are crazy. Mike Ford always scores from that formation

It was on the other side of the field, but I would've sworn we were in the FLEX bone formation for a play. 

Gregory is trying to get too cute.  If he's gonna use the flex, then he needs to put a back in motion to offset the defense.

The diamond formation is when we have 4 WR on one side in a diamond and the 5th WR on the other side.

I second that.  Any out of the ordinary pass formation is Grothe running.

That formation has to be one of Chico Canales ideas.  Anyone remember his "triple stack" formation back when he was OC?  That one never worked either.

1) It's most likely a Canales formation as he is the Passing Game Coordinator.

2) If ... and that is IF ... runs that again, they need to pass out of it.  Against UCF they were designed runs for Grothe. We need to make them think run and then actually PASS.

Otherwise, I agree. The Diamond needs to go the way of Voodo 5.

I think line up in it have Grothe give the defense a run fake then throw the ball.  Same way the Gators use the "rocker step" to make teams think it's a designed run for Tebow then throw the ball.  The film will set this up beautifully as we showed run so much in that formation.  Sometimes the first time you see something is just to set it up for the next game or a little more down the road.

I personally liked the formation. It was a unique one that I haven't seen before. But yes, more needs to be run with it. A WR screen would be a great thing to run with 3 blockers. It could become a cool formation if used appropriately.
