Alltel Bulls Tailgate Party

Alltel Wireless is kicking off the college football season and celebrating USF’s recent overtime victory against Central Florida with a special Bulls Tailgate party, featuring USF mascot Rocky the Bull, free food from Moe’s Southwest Grill and a drawing for autographed football memorabilia.

The first 20 fans to attend the tailgate and yell “Go Bulls!” to an Alltel Wireless staff member will receive two free club level tickets to the USF vs. Kansas game at Raymond James Stadium on Sept. 12.

Those who visit the retail store will have the opportunity to receive $50 off the Samsung Muse phone, a $25 credit on their first wireless bill and free activation on any new phone. USF fans can also stop by the Alltel Mobile Experience outside of the store to download free USF ringtones and wallpapers.

Fans can also enter the Alltel “My Circle Gridiron Getaway” sweepstakes.  Alltel is giving football fans the chance to travel with their Circle of Friends via private jet to any regular season college or pro football game of their choice. The text-to-win promotion will award five grand prize winners and their Circle of Friends with a VIP football experience, and Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders will join one of the five lucky fans for a special tailgating experience. Fans can enter by texting the word JET to 57533 or by logging onto www.alltelfootball.com.

The event is free and open to the public.

Ton of Festivities Around Leavitt Show Next Wednesday

TAMPA -- The Bull Session Radio Show with Jim Leavitt will air LIVE at Moe's Southwest Grill in New Tampa on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 7-8 p.m. Eastern. USF fans are encouraged to attend or listen on 1010 AM or GoUSFBulls.com.

There will be a ton of festivities at Moe's and the adjacent Alltel store, all in preparation for the Friday night showdown with Kansas.

Happy Hour with J.P. Peterson will broadcast LIVE broadcast from 3- 6 p.m. on Sept. 10th at the Alltel store, which is right next door to Moe’s, where the Leavitt Show will begin at 7 p.m.  Both shows will air live on WQYK 1010 AM.

Peterson and 1010 have several promotions lined up, including:

- 50 FREE Club Level Tickets for the USF-KU game will be given away

- Bulls memorabilia and merchandise give-away drawings

- Rocky the Bull appearance

- FREE Food

- FREE USF Ringtones and Wallpapers to everyone

- T-Shirt give-aways, specifically geared toward the KU game

- Special guest appearance by USF football representative

Moe’s Southwest Grill is on Bruce B. Downs (17509 Preserve Walk Lane).

Jim Louk and Mark Robinson will host the weekly call-in show once again this year. Fans who wish to call-in can call 1-866-67-Bulls.  The radio show will be hosted at Moe's two days before every home game this season. The start time will always be 7 p.m. Eastern.

not sure-- it might be easier for all involved-- doesn't CJL live in New Tampa or thereabouts?

getting down to channelside -- although a neat place to have the radio show-- was tough a lot of people. I like that they are moving it around a little bit to give others a shot to be a part of it.

I do, too, Mike -- but there are other places even along Fowler or even Busch that might be convenient from school... we all know that CJL goes back to campus to watch film until late night...

I am very glad there are places like Alltel and Moes that support our program... I just wish I could show them my gratitude in person.
