BULLue Schist Posted September 7, 2008 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 64 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 03/09/2006 Share Posted September 7, 2008 The Good…OffenceDespite a few issues, the offence shows signs of greatness. I like to deep ball, especially since they were right on the money and the receivers are actually catching the ball. The running game is developing (although the O-line needs a little work). My only concern is that the play calling seems a little predictable. Overall I think we can expect good things from the offenseThe Bad…Special teamsI noticed it during the Tenn-Martin game and now Vs UCF, but the kick off coverage sucks. We give up at least 20yards of field position more than we should and allow huge plays like the huge return for touchdown. The secondary is also a few steps behind. The Ugly…DelbertI am all for allowing players to grow into their roles, but we have to be able to make a 30yard FG to win the game with 15sec left. What made your list? Good lord I hope Kansas doesn't have any athletes.Bad: Throwing an INT in enemy territory with 3 mins left in the game. Letting them intermediate pass for a couple TDs. Last year he was throwing a little short or long on those throws.Bad: Secondary coverage. I hope Tyler Roberts nickname doesn't become "Toast"Ugly: Play calling in the last 4 minutes. I know it has been beaten to death. But Gregory almost cost us that game.

We don't win without him. Richard Kelly's inspiring running in the 2nd Half. Wideouts making good catches most of the night. OL's pass protection for MG. Overall play by the Defense. The Bad- Special teams as a whole. One terrible kickoff return against, plus a few big punt returns allowed, plus the missed FG at the end, and the blocked FG. This will cost us a game if we don't get it corrected. Selvie and Buie "not staying at home". It was obvious that Greco would be rolling out to his left, and our DE's never stayed home. Was I the only one that noticed this? No one else stepping up on the DL to help out George. He's getting doubleteamed for Christ's sake. Mompremier on the long Greco run. How'd did he smoke you like that? Tyler Roberts on the TD. What kind of coverage was that, and secondly what kind of angle was that? No way should that be a touchdown. MG's ill advised pass over the middle. He threw it way late, when the guy was open earlier in the route. Kept UCF in the game. The Ugly- UCF and that Tin Can of a stadium. Costa Posted September 7, 2008 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 1,524 Reputation: 9 Days Won: 1 Joined: 02/20/2008 Share Posted September 7, 2008 Good- Grothe's ability to make things happen. Good arm on the deep ball. Bad- Gregory's playcalling. Same plays over and over. He needs to come up with some better plays. Ive had about enough of him. I thought he would be better this year, but no. Ugly- OL line. They looked lik pee weee football kids out there getting run over. Looks like this will be an issue all season. Also, Alvarado. Good lord, Im not going to get started on this.
