Guest BasketBull.
I wasn't impressed last week. Tonight, they didn't change my mind any. Looks just like last year --bahhhd.On the other hand, the D-line is great! 100% better, especially against the run. (But it was the Gnats running the ball.) Guest JulmisteForPrez
Yep....O-line looks like a C+ unit at best.

Its not the O Lines fault if Grothe holds onto ball for too long. O line actually played better tonight than last year.

Not sure I would blame the O-Line for that.

Overall it seemed to me that it looked more like Rutgers 2nd half.

The o-line performed so well at times and gave grothe ample time to release, and grothe decided since they were spying him to wait....and have to escape. Run blocking needs to get better. Our d-line looks very impressive...mcclain looks amazing

Just my opinion. My opinion almost got me into a "fight" with a USF fan that wanted to talk only about Grothe being overratted and not at all willing to consider that the O-Line wasn't strong the entire game. I'm sure Shoop enjoyed this for the record: I love Grothe but will also be one of the first people to tell you that he's overratted in a number of ways. As my friend put perfectly last night: "he's not as good as all the girls that want to do him think he is, but he's also not as bad as all the guys that want to be him think he is"

Our offensive coordinator didn't do MG any favors with an endless stream of empty backfields and little use of tight end chip blocks. Give UCF some credit as well...their DLine is athletic and their starters are as good as many of the lines we'll see in conference play. Hope some of our youngsters develop quickly...
